http://www.politicollision.com/story.php?title=romney-continues-to-consolidate-lead-in-state-polls Today's Rasmussen Reports daily tracking poll shows both President Obama and Mitt Romney each at 45 percent with 4 percent preferring another candidate (probably supporters of Ron Paul or Gary Johnson) and 6 percent undecided. Almost equally important to those numbers are another Rasmussen poll released three day ago, showing that 47 percent of voters consider President Obama's views extreme while only 31 percent view Romney views that way. Additionally, Romney's views are considered mainstream by 51 percent in that same survey. In yet another Rasmussen poll of likely voters, 68 percent see the president as liberal while 60 percent see Romney as conservative. Obama was also seen as “Very Liberal” by 43 percent.
