I am sure it is completely fictional regarding it's history. A deck of cards is not the Bible and one doesn't worship or study with cards. The parallels between the deck, our Judeo Christian teachings and logic are interesting. This is not a cheap trick. It is well executed slight of hand and a story. It is nice.
