The Ron Paul Newsletters: A Ghost Writer's Perspective and Open Letter to James Kirchick

Mr. Kirchick, this is in response to your politically timed "expose" on the thirty-year-old Ron Paul newsletters, "The Company Ron Paul Keeps." (Though, technically, to qualify as an "expose," your piece would have to include something new, which it does not.)

Not knowing your background as a writer, I'm not sure if you're familiar with ghost writing, how prevalent it is, or how to works. So following is my professional take on the Ron Paul Newsletters issue, as a professional ghost writer and marketing expert with over 20 years of experience.

That's odd. In 1996 Paul is defending HIS newsletters (http://www.criticalreactor.com/ronpaul/newsletters/1996_Dallas_Morning_News.html) yet today he knows nothing about them.

Also in 1996 this appeared: WASHINGTON - Dr. Ron Paul, a Republican congressional candidate from Texas, wrote in his political newsletter in 1992 that 95 percent of the black men in Washington, D.C., are "semi-criminal or entirely criminal."

He also wrote that black teenagers can be "unbelievably fleet of foot."

An official with the NAACP in Texas said the comments were racist and offensive.

Dr. Paul, who is running in Texas' 14th

Just a few days ago this appeared in the Spectator: Ex-Ron Paul Aide Disputes Paul on Newsletters (http://spectator.org/blog/2011/12/20/ex-ron-paul-aide-disputes-paul) />
I love how he defends Hamas against Israel: (
http://www.mrctv.org/videos/flashback-ron-paul-defends-hamas-says-israeli-blockade-act-war) />
Then he blames the 9/11 terror attacks on U.S. foreign policy.

Talk about clueless and out of touch. There must be a padded room with Paul's name on it.

You can shove Ron Paul up your ass!

Ron Paul would still be a much better leader than the idiot in chief that we have now although I don't like his foreign policy. The only thing that really upsets me about Ron Paul is his third party considerations if he doesn't get the nomination which could split the conservative vote. Regardless, as Mark Levin says, "I'd vote for an orange juice can before I'd vote for Obama."
