Love the music, not too hot on the vocals. I get tired of the growling.

Back in the day, I used to be able to sing like that (not that I could sing). Then I got old and now it just comes out as a croak.

Bands who can mix a heavy riff with vocals that don't sound like the devil is singing is what I prefer. Personally, my favorite vocalist who I think sounds/sounded good no matter genre he was singing was/is Robert Plant.

Music historians note that Robert Plant set the standard for most all rock vocalists who came after him.

Encyclopædia Britannica notes "Exaggerating the vocal style and expressive palette of blues singers such as Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters, Robert Plant created the sound that has defined much hard rock and heavy metal singing: a high range, an abundance of distortion, loud volume, and emotional excess"

"now it just comes out as a croak."

Just like Bob Dylan!

Hell yeah, you should hear me sing Like a Rolling Stone!

A few years ago, a friend of my family and I took my mother to see Dylan for her birthday. It was horrible. The man should just hire a singer.
