I’ve been thinking a lot about the late President Richard Nixon these last few weeks. The man is so very quotable and increasingly relevant. Here’s another beauty from Nixon: “There will be no whitewash in the White House.”
Talk about the good old days of Watergate. We had stonewalling; lame, unexplained claims of executive privilege; defiant White House aides and lying cabinet members. Did I say the old days? Heck, call it “current events.”
Nixon would be in awe of President Obama and how he’s ignoring laws he doesn’t like. These guys read the Constitution like it’s a Chinese restaurant menu.
