`Strange thing about it is...the guy looked like he was in decent shape "Physically".....But de-fanged mentally....and had no situational-awareness...If one (who is un-armed) is going to get attacked & beat up & robbed badley...take a few with ya....They want evil...show it to them.`

Yeah. This guy let things escalate way beyond control and never fought back. The thing these street urchin thugs all have in common is cowardice. Go toe to toe with them like you mean it and they'll scatter like the cockroaches that they are.

The best advice I ever received on this subject was from an old martial arts instructor of mine many years ago. He said that unless you can definitively prove that an aggressor is NOT trying to kill you, assume that they are and respond in kind.
