In a new trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness, the antagonist, played by British actor Benedict Cumberbatch, narrates over a series of images that show the blossoming romance between Spock and Uhura.

Nyota Uhura, played by Zoe Saldana, must choose between her love for Spock, played by Zachary Quinto, and the good of her team.

The once secretive relations that Uhura and Spock had now appear to be common knowledge to all on the USS Enterprise.

The controversial couple can be seen in the new trailer sharing a tender kiss against a backdrop of danger and mayhem.
