Politics! Politics! They’re playing politics in Washington!
Pretending to be modern Paul Reveres, Democrats and their media handmaidens are doing their damnedest to diminish the Benghazi revelations with the cheapest trick in town. While there is always pungent hypocrisy when one gang of politicians accuses another gang of playing politics, the current phony outrage from the Obama Protection Society is exceptionally putrid.
After all, the whole saga of Benghazi — before, during and after the terror attack — reflects nothing so much as the ultimate expression of Barack Obama’s politics. His preference for showing weakness abroad and contempt at home reached its full flowering in the massacre and its aftermath.

Along with targeting tea-party groups, the IRS may also have given extra-special attention to the tax-exempt status of some Jewish groups for political reasons.
From the Jewish Press:
The passionately pro-Israel organization Z STREET filed a lawsuit against the IRS, claiming it had been told by an IRS agent that because the organization was “connected to Israel,” its application for tax-exempt status would receive additional scrutiny. This admission was made in response to a query about the lengthy reveiw of Z STREET’s tax exempt status application.

FTA " (CNSNews.com) – The mother of diplomat Sean Smith, who was killed in the Benghazi terrorist attack on Sept. 11, 2012, said that at her son’s memorial service President Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and Ambassador Susan Rice told her that the attack occurred because of an anti-Muslim video, although evidence now shows the White House was told by the CIA “that Islamic extremists with ties to al Qaeda participated in the attack” and that the agency never mentioned a “video.” "
Mrs Smith, our condolences for the loss of your brave son. Normally, it would be an honor to have the president and his Secretary of State in attendance at the ceremony to memorialize him. These people were there, not out of respect and gratitude, but it was an excellent opportunity for a photo. Our regrets that we do not have an honorable administration to pay homage. Hilary Clinton and Elijah Cummings sum it up with their stated sentiments and by extension, your son, make no difference to them and you need to suck it up as death is a part of life.

Taking a bite out of crime in FL
Posted by Mortis (#2) 10 days ago (http://www.tampabay.com)Public school students who've endured ridicule for their Christian beliefs created a newly released video, titled "The Thaw," in which they ask, "Why can't I pray in school? Why am I called names because I believe in marriage the way God designed it? Why can't Tim Tebow praise God after making a touchdown without causing a national uproar?"
These questions, and many others, are posed by Christian students who've experienced censorship from teachers and even bullying from classmates who ostracize them for their biblical worldview on marriage and the right to life.
Is Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff Aiding and Abetting the Enemy?
Posted by 4Christ (#24) 9 days ago (http://shoebat.com)Lt. Col. Matthew Dooley – a highly decorated combat commander – was fired from his position by General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, for teaching a course designed to educate soldiers about how to fight back against Islam and Jihad. In essence, Dooley was right on at least two very basic fronts. 1.) He was helping soldiers defend their nation against the biggest threat it faces and 2.) He was arming them with knowledge to protect themselves in the battle.
As such, Dempsey is knowingly putting the men under his command in danger; this is a very serious offense that highlights everything a General should not be. He is supposed to put the safety of his men above himself and certainly above his own career.
This incident epitomizes the serious trouble this country is in unless Obama and his thugs are impeached, tried, convicted, and removed from power. The Benghazi scandal highlights the dangers of our failed and foolish security policies. The administration’s failure to protect Americans there is a model Dempsey appears to have adopted in firing Dooley.
Should Vice President Joe Biden fire his National Security Adviser or risk drawing the White House further into the Benghazi cover-up?
When the 9/11/12 attacks in Benghazi went down, a man named Jake Sullivan was a Deputy Chief of Staff to then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. We now know that Sullivan was intimately involved in altering the talking points given to UN Ambassador Susan Rice, which she used on 9/16/12 during appearances on five separate Sunday talk shows.
In fact, it appears that Sullivan worked intimately with the man who appears to have been at the center of those changes – Mike Morell. At the time, Morell was the number two man at the CIA behind Director David Petraeus. Morell became the interim Director when Petraeus resigned in the days after the election amidst revelations the four-star General had been engaged in an extra-marital affair with Paula Broadwell.
Via Stephen Hayes at the Weekly Standard:
Mike Morell, deputy director of the CIA, agreed to work with Jake Sullivan and Rhodes to edit the talking points. At the time, Sullivan was deputy chief of staff to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the State Department’s director of policy planning; he is now the top national security adviser to Vice President Joe Biden. Denis McDonough, then a top national security adviser to Obama and now his chief of staff, deferred on Rhodes’s behalf to Sullivan.
The email to Rice reported that Sullivan would work with a small group of individuals from the intelligence community to finalize the talking points on Saturday before sending them on to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, which had originated the request for talking points.
The sender of the email spoke with Sullivan after the meeting, reminding him that Rice would be doing the Sunday morning shows and needed to receive the final talking points. Sullivan committed to making sure Rice was updated before the Sunday shows. The sender told Sullivan
Many Muslims too easily justify violence
Posted by 4Christ (#24) 9 days ago (http://www.lfpress.com)In 2007, Environics conducted a survey about the attitudes of Canadian Muslims.
It showed an astonishing 12% of respondents said, if the men in the so-called “Toronto 18” terror plot had succeeded in carrying out their attacks on Canada, they would have been “at least somewhat justified.” Most pundits simply shrugged off the shocking figure.
Now, six years later, we have a worldwide survey of Muslims conducted by the prestigious PEW Foundation. The results confirm the fear of many that the radical doctrine of jihad and Islamism is gaining ground.
The most talked about statistic was the fact 90% of Muslims (including women) in Iraq, Morocco, Tunisia, Indonesia, Afghanistan and Malaysia expressed the view “a wife is always obliged to obey her husband.”
However, the most disturbing finding to emerge from this face-to-face survey of more than 38,000 Muslims around the world was the near-universal desire of most Muslims in Africa, Asia and the Middle East to see sharia become “the official law of the land.” (99% in Afghanistan, 84% in Pakistan, 83% in Morocco).
So what, argue those who have scant knowledge of sharia. To them I say, here is another statistic about the supporters of sharia that jumped out of the survey.
Of those Muslims who support sharia law, 85% in Egypt, 75% in Pakistan and 65% in the Palestinian Territories, support the execution of any Muslim who walks away from Islam. Even in secular Turkey, Bosnia and Russia, 15% of Muslims backing sharia supported the beheading of those who walk away from Islam.
While the current U.S. administration judges the Arab Muslim Brotherhood and its South Asian offshoot, the Jamaat-e-Islami, as “moderate” and even “secular,” Islamists have had a field day across the Islamic world.
On the ground they meet very feeble resistance from an often marginalized liberal Muslim opposition, be it in Cairo or Dhaka. Internationally, they can rely on a bottomless pit of petro-dollars from Gulf Arab states and t
On Thursday morning, the families of fallen Navy SEAL Team 6 Special Forces members, spoke at a press conference where they accused the U.S. government of complicity in the deaths of their sons. Among the number of grievances they noted, was the fact that the military invited a Muslim cleric to the funeral of their sons in 2011, who they claim “disparaged in Arabic the memory of these servicemen.”
According to Larry Klayman, the attorney representing the families, who consulted a certified translator, paraphrased the words of the imam’s words as “That the fallen seals should be damned and go to hell as infidels.”

Religious freedom not served by bigot consulting for the Pentagon
Posted by 4Christ (#24) 9 days ago (http://www.foxnews.com)Should our military consult with white supremacist groups when revising policies against racial discrimination?
Should it call the Westboro Baptist Church as it deals with the repercussions of repeal of "Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell"?
Or should it bring in Koran-burning pastor Terry Jones to consult as it continues its outreach to the Muslim world?
Obviously not. And if generals of any branch of the military met with these groups, we’d question their good faith and their understanding of the law.
Why is it acceptable to slander Evangelicals in the military even as tens of thousands fight honorably and bravely for their country?
Yet the Air Force has been meeting with a bigot every bit as obscene, every bit as hateful as any of the individuals or groups discussed above.
That bigot is named Michael "Mikey" Weinstein, the founder of the inappropriately-named Military Religious Freedom Foundation, and his rhetoric against Christians if every bit as poisonous as the rhetoric of acknowledged hate groups.
Don’t believe me? In just one recent column in the Huffington Post he called Evangelical Christians – many of whom serve in the military – “monsters,” “bloody monsters,” “pitiable unconstitutional carpetbaggers,” “bandits,” and “monstrously savage.”
He declared they “would usher in a blood-drenched, draconian era of persecutions, nationalistic militarism, and superstitious theocracy,” and declared them “world class cowards.”
Endangered animals in Texas are getting a second chance at life thanks to the Houston Zoo.
The Attwater’s prairie chicken, the Houston toad and five species of sea turtles are being rehabilitated to be released into the wild in coming weeks, according to Peter Riger, the zoo’s vice president of conservation and science. The grouse-like Attwater’s prairie chicken, which once thrived throughout coastal Texas and Louisiana, are now believed to number less than 100 in the wild.
“The zoo is a vital link to getting these animals back into the landscape,” Riger said. “At this point, they need assistance. Their numbers are too low to rebound on their own.”
Riger said the zoo has recently tended to 200 Attwater’s prairie chicken eggs in its incubators after they were carefully transported from its facility at the Johnson Space Center. Once hatched, they will be released at full maturity within a few months, he said.
World Trade Center Rises…
Posted by psygremlin (#23) 10 days ago (http://www.cnn.com)Construction workers expected to bolt a 408-foot spire into place atop One World Trade Center on Friday, symbolically capping New York’s comeback after the September 11, 2001, terror attacks.
The spire will bring the iconic building to a height of 1,776 feet — an allusion to the year the United States declared its independence.
