In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow

Fears of a tyrannical government, willing to break any law, and sacrifice any number of lives for its agenda, are no longer the exclusive province of "conspiracy theorists." In light of these scandals, is it really so difficult to believe that the Obama administration would deliberately facilitate mass murder on both sides of the Mexican border, including the killings of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and ICE Agent Jaime Zapata, in order to advance the "gun control" agenda? Is it not, in fact, more difficult to put such evil past these people?

Most of the press has given the White House a pass on "Project Gunwalker." It's well past time to revoke that pass.

A French monk wrote a manifesto stating that every woman would agree to sell her body for money. The manifesto was read by the Queen of France and she invited the monk for a chat.
- So, you're stating that every women would agree to sell herself?
- Yes.
- Me too?
- Of course.
- And how much do you think I would cost?
- 500 francs.
- What?! Only 500 francs?!
- Here you go - you've already started to negotiate.

Capt. John Paul Jones may have served more than 200 years ago, but his letters reveal that the topics of his day can still resonate.

For example, Jones, as a founding father of the Navy, was quite vocal about the quality of leaders needed at the time.

“I am determined never to draw my sword under the command of any man, who was not in the Navy, as early as myself, unless he hath merited a preference by his Superior Services and abilities,” Jones writes in one of 11 letters housed at the Charleston Library Society in South Carolina.

This week marks the 40th anniversary of the Watergate hearings. For those of you too young to remember, back then the administration had an enemies list. They were spying on reporters, and they used the IRS to harass groups they didn’t like. Thank God those days are gone forever.

A lot of critics are comparing President Obama to President Richard Nixon, which is unfair. Nixon’s unemployment rate was only 5 percent.

FTA " (CBS News) WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS' targeting of conservative groups.

Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS.

The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.

It's the first evidence that someone within the Obama administration knew about the practice during the presidential campaign. "

This is from some obscure organization calling themselves CBS; not normally associated with much beyond showbusiness.

The Obama administration’s sudden plunge into scandal territory has two aspects — the actual and the political.

The first, and most important, has to do with what actually happened. Why did the administration promulgate a false account of the terror attack on Benghazi? Why did the Internal Revenue Service target conservative groups for special scrutiny? Why did the Justice Department act in an unprecedented fashion toward The Associated Press for publishing details of a foiled terror plot the White House was planning to discuss openly the next day?
