Let the mulatto bring it. He always wanted to be holey!
On Tuesday, the liberal New Republic published an article that was a not-so-subtle suggestion that Obama use military force against the Tea Party in the same manner Boris Yeltsin used it against hardliners in his government nearly 20 years ago.
"What is a president in a presidential constitutional republic to do when faced with an intransigent, bull-headed faction among his people's representatives?" Julia Ioffe wrote.
She then gave a brief synopsis of the events that took place, saying Yeltsin faced a situation similar to what Obama now faces.
"Almost exactly 20 years ago, he dissolved parliament. The vice president and the speaker of the parliament dissolved Yeltsin's presidency, and holed up with their supporters in the parliament's headquarters, now known as 'the White House,'" she said.
"Then Yeltsin did this to it," she added immediately above a picture of a Russian armored vehicle in front of a flaming government building.
Although Ioffe didn't explicitly say Obama should order the military to fire on members of the Tea Party, the implication was quite clear, and didn't go unnoticed by readers of the New Republic.
The Barry-cades should be the symbol of this “shutdown” — political opportunism by Obama and the Democrats in Congress who create unnecessary photo-ops, even if it means ambushing visiting WWII veterans and ordinary citizens in order to protect special Obamacare privileges enjoyed by members of Congress.
Lots of news on today's show, with a run down on the Islamic violence from last week, which killed dozens of not hundreds of people.
Islamic expert, and former Muslim, I.Q. Al Rassooli joins Tamar and pundits on the situation of all these Islamic murdering sprees, and what the international community should be doing about it.
Shifra Hoffman comes on the show and talks about PM Netanyahu's mistakes when dealing with U.S. pressure and the Iranian nuclear threat.
Also, are there prophesies that have been hidden in ancient Jewish texts, speaking about the collaboration of Iran and America against Israel in the End of Days? Dr. Yacov Tabak joins Tamar and reveals that much of what we are seeing today in the news headlines, were predicted centuries ago, and are seemingly being played out today. A fascinating interview.
“In our time the Biblical prophecies are being realized,” Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu declared before world leaders gathered at the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday.
“As the prophet Amos said, they shall rebuild ruined cities and inhabit them,” Netanyahu said. “They shall plant vineyards and drink their wine. They shall till gardens and eat their fruit. And I will plant them upon their soil never to be uprooted again. Ladies and gentlemen, the people of Israel have come home never to be uprooted again.”
I don’t personally recall a single other Israeli leader in the modern era who has spoken so clearly of the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Perhaps David Ben Gurion did, for the first Israeli premier had a great interest in the Scriptures. But Netanyahu’s own interest in the Scriptures has been growing significantly in recent years, as I have noted on the blog, and increasingly pronounced in his public statements. At a speech at the Auschwitz death camp in 2009, for example, Netanyahu declared that the prophecies of Ezekiel 37 — the dry bones of the Jewish people coming back together miraculously to form the State of Israel — had come to pass in his lifetime.
A series of leaked emails authored by House Speaker John Boehner’s chief of staff Mike Sommers show that the Speaker may have coordinated with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to exempt Congress from Obamacare.
Callaway's radical AeroWagon Corvette is headed for production, according to the latest buzz.
First unveiled last March, CarBuzz reports that Callaway will begin converting 2014 Corvette Stingrays into AeroWagons.
The C7 Corvette had barely moved off the Detroit Auto Show stand before Reeves Callaway and company came up with this sleek design.
The AeroWagon is a Corvette Stingray shooting brake; a coupe with the tail end of a wagon. Think of it as a budget American alternative to the Ferrari FF, or the equally custom Aston Martin-based Bertone Jet.
The result is a car that looks amazingly like an OEM vehicle; the rear hatch's lines blend seamlessly with those of the rest of the car.
The same veterans group that managed to storm the gates at the WWII memorial yesterday is planning taking on the fences at the Lincoln Memorial today. This sounds like a capitol idea, pun intended.
Both memorials are open air memorials. The Lincoln Memorial is open 24 hours a day, normally. If you’ll recall, it was wide open to having someone throw green paint on it in the evening a few months ago.
So that means the Obama administration is making a conscious effort to spend more in time and money to shut off something which is normally open.
How ridiculous is this effort by President Obama to make the people “hurt” so he can blame it on Republicans, just as he did with the sequester, which was also his idea?
We still don’t have access to the White House, the people’s house, allegedly because of the sequester, although Obama has spent countless of our millions since then on vacations, parties and golf.
There’s a lot to appreciate about hormones. They play a huge role in everything from getting pregnant to feeling happy to sleeping soundly. Unless, that is, your levels fluctuate―which, for better or worse, is a natural part of growing older. To shed a little light on these changes, it’s first important to understand how your primary hormones work.
Progesterone, which is produced by the ovaries and the adrenal glands after ovulation, maintains healthy cell growth in the uterus. Estrogen is created by the ovaries, the adrenal glands, and fat cells and prepares the uterus to accept a fertilized egg each month. Testosterone is made by the ovaries and the adrenal glands and regulates sex drive. And thyroid hormones (that’s right, produced by the thyroid) control metabolism.
Read on to learn how all of them impact you at different stages of your life―and what you can do to manage hormonal changes and feel good every step of the way.
The White House may be quietly hoping that a federal government shutdown slams the political prospects of the Republican Party like it did during the last crisis in 1995, but something else happened at the start of that shutdown that nearly destroyed the presidency: the sordid Oval Office sex affair between Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton began.
As that shutdown began November 14th after Clinton and Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich stopped negotiating, the White House was forced to slash its staff of 430 to a skeleton crew of 90, with unpaid interns helping out too.
The RNC on the other hand has $12.5 million in cash on hand.
There’s another budget crisis in Washington, and it’s unfolding inside the Democratic party. The Democratic National Committee remains so deeply in the hole from spending in the last election that it is struggling to pay its own vendors.
It is a highly unusual state of affairs for a national party — especially one that can deploy the President as its fundraiser-in-chief – and it speaks to the quiet but serious organizational problems the party has yet to address since the last election, obscured in part by the much messier spectacle of GOP infighting.
The Democrats’ numbers speak for themselves: Through August, 10 months after helping President Obama secure a second term, the DNC owed its various creditors a total of $18.1 million, compared to the $12.5 million cash cushion the Republican National Committee is holding.
Several executives at firms that contract to provide services to the party – speaking anonymously to avoid antagonizing what remains an important if troubled client — describe an organization playing for time as they raise alarms about past-due bills falling further behind. And senior strategists close to the DNC say they worry the organization appears to have no road map back to solvency. “They really thought they could get this money raised by the summer,” one said, “but the fact is, from talking to people over there, they have no real plan for how to solve this.”
A fair question to ask is, "Why is the black man so angry and why is his hostility specifically directed at White people?"
Where is this hostility coming from?
America has been, of late, bombarded by the liberal media's race-baiting, hate-festering, vindictive propaganda machine associated with the George Zimmerman/Trayvon Martin incident. The nation, without a doubt, has been divided because of this incident. And, while the incident itself - most would agree - was an unfortunate and, likely, preventable tragedy, what the liberal media has done, as well as liberal politicians such as Barack Hussein Obama, with the story, is staggeringly harmful and must be seriously taken into account as a likely cause of the kind of rage exhibited Lashawn Martin.
It is no secret that Barack Hussein Obama ( the Chicago, community organizer, formerly known as Barry Soetoro of Indonesia) has been a highly divisive leader; one whose rhetoric, apparently, is purposefully designed to spark division and resentment , rather than peace, unity, and brotherly trust. Regularly inserting himself into situations, such as the George Zimmerman case, that have lead to an increase in distrust between people of different races, primarily between Blacks and Whites, the time has now come for the American people to seriously ask whether or not the president's own words - aided by race hustlers like Al Sharpton - have directly lead to the violence seen on the streets, and exemplified by Lashawn Marten.
America's "race relations" are on a rapid decline because of this dishonest, divisive rhetoric. This latest incident (among many other recent incidents) reflects a growing sentiment of hatred and distrust in Black people directed at White people. Why? Who is to blame for this?
